In 1999 Eric boxed out of a New York boxing gym where he acquired a vision to open a place of his own. Shortly after Eric moved to Calgary and began coaching out of a small local gym which then inspired him to Teofista Boxing gym. Eric’s biggest belief is that a door should always be open for those that who aspire to learn to box, box competitively ,or need an outlet for self expression and discipline. Many boxers currently fight competitively in amateur and pro cards hosted by Teofista gym and around the world.
