Scratch Boxing Club was founded in the year 2000 by owner Jose A. Garcia. Mr. Garcia was working at Kelly Airforce Base, and was affected by the RIF. He had always been involved in boxing since he was young, and wanted to open his own boxing club. Being affected by the RIF, he now had the perfect opportunity. So after sitting down and talking about the idea with his dad, he opened SCRATCH BOXING CLUB, next to their family-owned busines, The Royal Palace. The gym has been up and running ever since. What’s unique about us, is the bond everyone has with eachother. When you walk in, you feel a different vibe. We all treat eachother like one big family.
